Join us for the PAC Middle School play, “The Super Non-Heroes,” on Thursday, April 16 at 7:00 PM at the Rialto Theater. No ticket is needed - it's free! Bring your family and friends and come support our students while enjoying a night filled with laughter, adventure, and inspiration!
About "The Super Non-Heroes": Powerless Charlie sticks out like a sore thumb in a school full of superheroes. When a supervillain attacks the school Charlie must dig deep within herself. She may not be a superhero but she discovers her unique talents to save the day. A fabulous middle school play that looks at friendship, acceptance and discovering yourself. And who doesn’t want to be a superhero?!

Thomas and Olivia Maske presented their innovative idea at the TAG Innovations Fair on Saturday, March 28th. They created a model called "MERFS" which stands for Making Education Right For Students. It included a 3D design of the ideal middle school building, curriculum, school day schedule/calendar and more! Thomas and Olivia scored in the Top 3 for group projects earning a $300 prize. Congratulations, Thomas and Olivia!
PAC hosted "What if?", the first ever Lakeland TAG Innovation Fair on Saturday. TAG students from area schools presented projects of their ideas that would improve every day life to local volunteer judges.
Participants from PAC included MS students Kendall Haberl, Olivia and Thomas Maske. Kendall's project was a prototype for improvement crutches. Thomas and Olivia presented their idea of a new and improved MS program.
Several MS/HS students attended or helped with the event such as Table Top Games providing activities for participants and FCS classes providing breakfast and snacks for the morning. Olivia and Thomas Maske placed in the top 3 of all the projects, earning a $300 prize! The event was an overall success and provided a great way to showcase student work. Thanks Mr. Sommers for all of his hard work organizing this event!

PAC has 7 FCCLA members attending the Iowa State FCCLA Student Leadership Conference this week in Cedar Rapids. All members are competing in STAR events such as Event Management, Public Policy, Career Investigation, and Chapter Service projects.
