Helpful spectator reminders:
Performance times are not exact, so arrive at least 30 minutes early.
No photography or video recording is allowed during performances.
Spectators should avoid wearing school apparel that identifies a contestant’s school.
All spectators are welcome, and a $5 donation is typically requested at the door.

Academic All-State Recognition for PACSD's Khloe Mefferd
Pocahontas Area senior Khloe Mefferd has been named to the Iowa Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) Academic All-State Team. She and the other honorees were recognized at the Iowa High School Girls State Basketball Tournament in Des Moines.
A committee from the IBCA selected the 23-member team from 185 nominees across the state. Students honored on the Academic All-State Team maintain an average GPA above 3.7 on a 4.00 scale, with the group collectively averaging an ACT score of 26.2.
During the 2025–26 season, Mefferd led the Indians in scoring, three-point percentage, rebounds, and blocks. She was also named 1st Team All-Twin Lakes Conference and earned IGCA Northwest All-District honors in Class 2A, highlighting her as a standout basketball player and strong academic performer.
Last spring, Khloe also competed in track and field, participating at the Drake Relays and qualifying for the State Track & Field meet, showcasing her versatility and dedication as a true multi-sport Student-Athlete.

The Pocahontas Area High School Boys Basketball team recently completed their season. The team finished 3rd in the Twin Lakes Conference with a 7–4 record and 12–11 overall.

The Pocahontas Area High School Girls Basketball team finished the season with a 7–4 record in the Twin Lakes Conference, tying for 4th place. The team concluded the year with an overall record of 14–9.
