First graders had an exciting day partnering with the conservation office at Swan Lake and learning from Mr. Mann! Students explored bird characteristics, discovering what makes each species unique, and even had the chance to observe real live raptors up close.
The eagles, Rocky the Eagle and Stormy the Eagle, were especially chatty and kept everyone entertained!
A big thank you to Mr. Mann and the naturalists at Swan Lake for providing such a fun and informative experience for our first graders!
