We want to take a moment to recognize the Pocahontas Area Athletic Booster Club and all they do to support our student-athletes and PAC activities programs!

The Athletic Boosters work throughout the year to raise funds, volunteer at events and provide support that directly benefits our students and programs.

CONDUCT COUNTS!

We are incredibly proud of our coaches and Student-Athletes for their conduct and sportsmanship throughout the 2025-2026 school year.

Pocahontas Area was recently recognized by the Iowa High School Athletic Association as one of 191 schools across the state — approximately 50% of IHSAA member schools — that had no coaches or Student-Athletes ejected during the 2025-2026 sports season.

Thank you to our coaches for setting the example and to our Student-Athletes for representing Pocahontas Area with pride, respect and sportsmanship.

The 2026 United As One PAC Bond Referendum is on the ballot this fall. The proposed plan will modernize career and technical education spaces, expand preschool and early learning options, and address safety and infrastructure needs across every building the district owns. It's an investment in our students and will strengthen our communities for years to come.

Mark your calendars to join us at one of our upcoming community meetings. Next meeting is on Thursday, September 17 at 6:00 p.m. at our HS Commons for a Community Presentation. Vote on Election Day on November 3, 2026 🗳️ Go PAC!
