Congratulations to seniors Kristin Axman and Katie Rierson for earning Academic All-State honors! This statewide honor requires student-athletes to be seniors who meet at least two of three rigorous criteria: a 3.85+ GPA, an ACT score of 27+, or ranking in the top 10% of their class (Class 2A).

The 2026 Unified Activity Federation Non-Contact Period — also known as Family Week — runs Sunday, July 26 through Sunday, August 2.
Established by the IHSAA, IGHSAU, IHSMA, and IHSSA, this statewide break gives students, families, and staff a chance to step back from all school-sponsored activities. No practices, workouts, camps, lessons, or meetings will take place at Pocahontas Area during this time.
