PAC Manufacturing is proud to announce it has been honored with the Business of the Year award from the Pocahontas Chamber of Commerce.
The award was presented at the Chamber's annual ceremony, which recognized outstanding community contributions. Other recipients included the Pocahontas Women's Club for Chamber Volunteer of the Year and Ron & Corinne Peterson for Community Volunteer of the Year.
PAC Manufacturing is a unique, student-organized and operated business class within the PAC School District. Operating since 1996, our team is known for providing professional services including marketing, weddings, custom signage, and custom apparel.
The PAC MAN team wanted to share their gratitude for this award:
We want to say a huge thank you from everyone at PAC MAN. Winning Business of the Year means so much to us, not just because of the award itself, but because it represents all the hard work, extra time, and creativity that went into building our student-run business.
When we first started engraving items and designing shirts and hats, we had no idea how much we’d learn along the way. We’ve made mistakes, laughed a lot, and discovered what it really means to turn ideas into something people value.
This award isn’t just for us, it’s for everyone who supported us: our teachers and mentors who believed in us, our classmates, customers who trusted us with their designs and our families who cheered us on even when the laser engraver decided to stop working halfway through an order!
Running a business as students has taught us so much about teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. We’ve learned that success doesn’t come from one big moment, it comes from all the small ones where you choose to keep going.
Thank you again to the judges, our school, and everyone here tonight for recognizing our efforts. We’re excited to keep growing, learning, and creating. And most of all, we hope we’ve shown that with passion and a little determination, students really can build something amazing.
