🍁🧡 Students and staff at PAC Elementary have SO much to be thankful for! 🧡🍁 As we wrap up this season of gratitude, we are reminded every day how lucky we are to learn and grow together. Here are just a few reasons we’re feeling extra thankful: ✨ Our amazing students who show curiosity, kindness, and resilience each day. ✨ Dedicated teachers and staff who go above and beyond to make school a safe, joyful place to learn. ✨ Supportive families who partner with us and cheer their children on. ✨ A welcoming school community where everyone is valued and encouraged. ✨ Fun learning experiences that help students explore, discover, and shine. ✨ Friendships that make school days brighter. At PAC Elementary, gratitude isn’t just something we talk about.. it’s something we see in action every day. 💛 Happy Thanksgiving season from our PAC family to yours! 🍂🦃📚 https://youtu.be/ky18HYKcuGs

Our fourth graders had an exciting morning of learning outside the classroom in Laurens! 📚✨ They kicked off the day at the public library where they enjoyed reading books and playing a fun group game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, with the champion taking home a special prize rock! ✊📄✂️🪨 At the museum, students explored history through a scavenger hunt, following clues and discovering fascinating artifacts from our county’s past. 🏛️🔍 The adventure continued at the bank, where they learned how customers do business, watched a coin and bill counter in action, explored the drive-up window options, and even got to see the money vault! 💰🏦 What a great day of hands-on learning and community connection for our fourth graders! 🎉📖🌟

🎅📬 Our 5th graders teamed up with our kindergarten students today for a sweet holiday tradition — writing letters to Santa! The older students were wonderful mentors, helping their kindergarten buddies sound out words, share ideas, and add lots of Christmas magic to their letters. ❤️🎄 We love seeing our students work together across grade levels and create memories that make the season bright! ✨

🦃 PAC Elementary had a gobble-tastic assembly today! 🦃 We gathered together to celebrate our month of learning about gratitude, and it was truly something to be thankful for! Students were recognized for showing gratitude in their classrooms, and others were chosen for exhibiting positive traits in specials! Talk about a flock full of fantastic kids! 🧡 Each group of award winners got to challenge the staff in some hilarious games, and let’s just say… the competition was no turkey. Our students really showed they weren’t just “winging it”! We enjoyed an interactive read-aloud from Mrs. Carlson, prep, kindergarten and first grade (who absolutely feathered their nests with that performance!), watched a heartwarming gratitude video, and talked about our December goals for positive recess behavior... because kindness never goes out of season. And of course, we wrapped up with everyone’s favorite… THE GOBBLE SONG! 🦃💃 The whole room was shaking their tail feathers! It was fun, entertaining, and plenty to gobble about afterward! We are so proud of our students and staff for making today such a “thank-full” celebration! 🧡✨❤️🖤

💙 Yesterday at PAC Elementary, our students and staff wore blue in honor of National Grief Awareness Day. Grief is something that touches every life, big and small. Taking time to recognize it helps remind our students that their feelings matter, they’re not alone, and it’s okay to talk about what’s on their hearts. One simple but powerful truth we shared: “Grief is love with nowhere to go. When we support each other, we give that love a place to land.” We are proud of our students for showing compassion, kindness, and understanding, values that make our school community strong. 💙✨❤️🖤

🇺🇸❤️ Veterans Day at PAC ❤️🇺🇸 Today our elementary students came together with many others to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. We waved our flags proudly, sang patriotic songs, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, and listened to the anthems of each military branch with gratitude and respect. 🎶🙌 Our guest speaker shared heartfelt stories that reminded us what courage and sacrifice truly mean. The smiles, salutes, and songs from our students made it a beautiful morning of reflection and thankfulness. To all of our veterans, thank you for your service, your bravery, and the freedom you protect for us all. ❤️🤍💙 #VeteransDay #ThankYouVeterans #ProudToBeAnAmerican #ElementaryStrong

🚗💻 Our 6th grade students put their creativity and coding skills to the test in Computer Science class by designing and building their own cars! The best part? Our 2nd grade students got to join in on the fun by testing out the cars. What an awesome example of collaboration, innovation, and hands-on learning across grade levels! 👏✨ #STEMLearning #Collaboration #FutureEngineers #PACStrong

Today, our students had the opportunity to hear from Amanda Allen, who led a heartfelt and meaningful session on understanding grief and loss. 💬✨ Through open conversation and shared stories, students learned that grief looks different for everyone — and that it’s okay to express emotions, ask for help, and take time to heal. We’re so grateful to Amanda Allen for creating a safe and supportive space for our students to explore these important topics. 💗 Thank you for reminding us that compassion, connection, and understanding can help us all through difficult times. 🌈 #StudentWellbeing #GriefSupport #MentalHealthAwareness #CommunityCare #PACStrong
