School Alert: Pocahontas Area Community School District will DISMISS early at 1:00pm due to winter weather on Thursday December 11, 2025 - No after school activities --- School Early Dismissal Notice
Due to the incoming weather, the following is an update for activities:
HS Girls Wrestling at Eagle Grove has been postponed
HS Boys Wrestling at West Bend-Mallard has been postponed
HS Bowling at Sioux Central (at Spencer Lanes) has been postponed
MS Girls Basketball at New Fonda has been postponed
MS Boys Basketball vs. Newell-Fonda at PAC Elementary has been postponed
HS Boys Basketball vs. Cherokee Washington at PAC HS/MS has been postponed
NO MS PRACTICES
HS PRACTICES ARE OPTIONAL AND MUST BE COMPLETED BY 5PM
NOTE: There will be NO SHUTTLES after practices tonight.
