Join us for the Pocahontas Area Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 11th at 10:00 AM in the HS/MS Gym.
The program is open to the public, and we invite all veterans, families, and community members to attend as we honor those who have served our country.
Following the program, cookies for veterans and guests will be provided by our Middle School Baking Class.
We look forward to celebrating and showing our appreciation together!

To qualify, Student-Athletes must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior and have achieved a 3.50 GPA or higher at the end of the previous school year.

FCCLA members are selling fun socks! For every 6 pairs of socks sold, a free pair is donated to someone in need in our school and community. FCCLA members will have the socks available in the lunchroom tonight during conferences. Thanks for your support!

As the fall season continues, we’re proud to recognize our September Student-Athletes of the Month! These individuals have demonstrated exceptional effort, leadership, and dedication — both in competition and in the classroom.
Boys Cross Country – Julio Valenzuela
"Julio has been our rock at practices. He is steady, works hard, and pushes himself. As a result, Julio has seen a lot of success and his times dropping over and over throughout the year." – Coach Robert Maske
Girls Cross Country – Natalie Sommerlot
"Natalie has consistently pushed herself throughout the year, seeing almost 5 minutes of improvement from the start of the season until now. Natalie is also our first multi-week 20-mile runner!" – Coach Robert Maske
Football – Adam Marsh
"Adam has had a great football season on the field. His work ethic and leadership have been awesome to watch. He continues to do the right things to make himself a better athlete and student." – Coach Mike Ehn

"Alayna has been a tremendous role model all season. She has a fantastic work ethic and wants to improve every day. Alayna has worked hard the last half of the season on mixing up her attacks from the middle. She sees the floor very well and can put the ball down based on what the defense is giving her. One of her goals this season was to stay on the floor all six rotations—she accomplished that goal." – Coach Susan Oehlertz
