Members of Pilot Creek FFA and students in Mrs. Hosek’s ag classes have been hard at work to give back to our farmers! We know farming is a demanding job, and we’re grateful for the hard work, dedication, and long hours farmers put in every day.

Students made ham and cheese sandwiches and packed them in sacks with fruit, chips, a sweet treat, and a note thanking them for their hard work.

Overall, more than 300 meals were delivered to farmers at local elevators in Pocahontas and surrounding communities today.

We hope these meals serve as a reminder that we appreciate everything they do to provide us with food, fiber, and fuel everyday!
