Plan for Play:
Play is such an important part of the preschool day. There are several centers set up that reinforce math and literacy concepts.
Current Centers:
Art, sensory table, water table, play dough, blocks, toys and games, dramatic play, writing, library, music, science, and math. This month, they incorporated Christmas around the world. The kids enjoy dressing up in ethnic outfits in the dramatic play center and making a variety of cultural crafts in the art center.
Five Star Iowa Quality Rating:
All Star-T Preschool is proud to announce their 5 Star Iowa Quality Rating System (QRS). Professional development opportunities where utilized to improve the physical environment and the interactions between teaching staff and students.
A Five Star Rating is the highest rating a preschool can achieve.
Coming Soon:
National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) site visit will be happening soon. When this occurs, they will spend the day observing the classrooms and looking through the program and classroom portfolios.
