About PAC

What is PAC?

PAC is a support group formed by parents who felt a need to support the prospective as well as current adoptive parents with issues & concerns.

The core group of PAC is made up of couples that meet regularly to discuss issues involving adoption.

What does PAC do?

  • Educate the community about adoption using displays, pamphlets and presentations to high schools.
  • Mentoring prospective adoptive parents.
  • Assist with trainings at pre-adoption workshops
  • Provide support for adoptive parents.
  • Provide support for our adoptive children.
  • Hold events & conferences to encourage a close network and provide resources for adoption issues.

Who can be involved?

  • Anyone with an interest in adoption!
  • Primarily adoptive parents with a desire to talk to other families about issues they are encountering with their adopted children or through the adoption process.
  • Any individual or family waiting to adopt.
  • Individuals or families considering adoption, to understand the pros & cons, emotions & procedures of adoption.
